About Us

The practice was established in Boston in 1993 and is now based in Swineshead from where we provide a personal architectural service to our clients throughout Lincolnshire and into the adjoining counties.

We are an RIBA Chartered Practice - Membership No: 2003632P

Robert Lowe brings over thirty years experience to the practice.

We are a general practice operating in this chiefly rural area.

Residential work has always been the mainstay of the practice - this covers work for private clients, both new dwellings and house extensions, and residential projects for our builder and developer clients.  We have a particular expertise in conservation area projects and on works to listed buildings [19th Century onward].

Commercial work is an important element - in the past this has included projects in retail, leisure and manufacture [particularly in the food processing industry].

We have a long association with educational buildings, with secondary and primary school projects and a number of nursery schools to our credit.  This has included both new buildings and major makeovers of Victorian buildings.

Church projects have included a new C of E church centre in Boston, the refurbishment of two listed Methodist churches and the remodelling of a Catholic church.

We aim to tailor our service to our client's needs and are proud that it is not restricted just to the "standard service" approach.

We take a very traditional approach to both service and design, while keeping abreast of the current advances in construction technology - particularly in respect of energy conservation.

We are partnered with Lincs Building Consultancy [ELDC & NELC's Building Control Department] who process all our Building Regulations applications, regardless of area.

We work mainly on computer, using the AutoCAD LT 2005 system.

In 2009 we received an Investor in Education Award.
